Option B · Recommended
Side by side, joined by a rule
A hairline binds emblem and names into one mark: the emblem belongs to the name. Used in the header and footer.

The Practice of Generative Wealth
Option C
Stacked colophon
Emblem above the names, centred. Reserved for signing the end of the homepage, like a publisher’s mark.
Rules
- Master lockup (B). Emblem height equals the combined height of the two name lines; hairline rule 1px, 14px either side; names left aligned.
- Colophon (C). Used once per page at most, at the end of the homepage only.
- Section-header treatment. Only for institutional headings (Why E. Douglas Partners): small emblem, hairline, label.
- Emblem alone. Only where the full lockup is already on screen (the header is always present), and never as decoration, a bullet or a divider.
- Minimum size and clear space. Emblem at least 30px wide on screen; clear space on every side equal to half the emblem’s height.
- Light, dark, mobile. Light: emblem in amber, names in ink. Dark: emblem in pale gold, names in ivory. Under 400px wide the header drops the second line; the emblem and firm name stay together.
- Dividers. The site uses whitespace and hairlines, not the emblem. If a divider is ever needed, it is a separate device, never the logo.
- Names. E. Douglas Partners in full first on every page; EDP only as shorthand after that.
